Imole Campaign Council Backs Adeleke’s Tinubu Campaign Appointment, Targets 1.5 Million Votes in Osun

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has welcomed the reported appointment of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as the state coordinator of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council, pledging to mobilise 1.5 million votes for the President in the forthcoming election.

The council described the appointment as well deserved, expressing confidence that Adeleke would deliver on the mandate and justify the trust reposed in him by the President.

In a statement signed by its Director-General, Senator Dr Kamarudeen Olalere Oyewumi, the council assured Tinubu of the commitment of Accord Party structures across Osun State to work towards his re-election.

The council also called on residents of Osun to continue supporting Adeleke, arguing that backing Tinubu in the presidential election would complement support for the governor.

It maintained that Adeleke would continue to fulfil his campaign promises to the people of the state, urging residents to sustain their confidence in his administration.

The statement read in part: “We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced.

“We promise the President, just as Governor Adeleke had said sometime ago, that we will deliver 1.5 million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election.”

The council reiterated its commitment to mobilising support for Tinubu across the state, adding that all Accord structures in Osun would participate in the re-election campaign.
